Meretorn (Sea Tower) is a former border-guard floodlight building on the edge of the shore, which has been reconstructed into a cosy building for meetings, with natural lighting and a breathtaking view of the sea from its four floors.
• Meretorn can take in up to 100 people: 50/ 20/ 20/ 12. There are excellent opportunities for holding workshops here. There is also a Finnish sauna with a relaxation room on the ground floor.
• In addition, we offer GeoCrosswords and photo hunts for seminar participants to spent their evenings www.cityfun.ee.

Until 1992, the Saka Manor was a border-guard station of the Soviet Union. The state border was closely guarded night and day from the top of the current Meretorn. When it became dark, the floodlight which was inside the building was wheeled to the edge of the limestone shore along the rails. The powerful floodlight reached up to 10 km to discover possible foreign ships that have come to save our people from occupation or border violations.
The flavour of islands with complicated history can also be felt inside Meretorn, where four seminar or meeting rooms have been named after islands (Hogland, Suur Tütarsaar, Väike Tütarsaar and Ruusker) and have an exposition on the Baltic limestone shore.
Tourist groups can get information and advice here before starting their trip and can afterwards enjoy an evening together with sauna and relaxation rooms.
