Grand Opening of the Saka Manor Staircase and Playground with an Evening Opera Concert

Saka Manor is delighted to announce that on July 5 we will officially reopen the historic staircase leading down the limestone cliff to the beach, which has been closed for several years, as well as our newly renovated children’s playground.

Event Schedule

17:00–17:30 – Gathering in the Winter Garden
17:30 – Official reopening of the Saka staircase, children’s playground and military memorials
17:45 – Walk to the staircase
18:00 – Ceremonial ribbon-cutting. Guests will have the opportunity to walk down the staircase to the beach.
18:20 – Historical guided walk with Saka Manor owner Tõnis Kaasik. Meeting point in front of the hotel building.

Performing is a trio consisting of an opera singer, pianist and violist.

Germán Gholami Torres-Pardo is a Spanish-born tenor who is becoming one of the most distinguished emerging artists on the international opera scene. Born into a family of musicians, Germán grew up in Madrid and earned his university degree at the University of Alcalá.

For the past ten years, Germán has lived and worked in Estonia, where he also learned the Estonian language. His classical tenor career began here in 2012 when he joined the opera company of the Vanemuine Theatre.

Since then, he has performed at prestigious festivals, concert halls and opera houses around the world, including the Elbland Festival and the Dresden Semper Opera Ball. His stage partners have included renowned Estonian and international musicians and orchestras, such as Annely Peebo, Elina Nechayeva, the Lembit Saarsalu Quartet, the Babelsberg Film Orchestra, and the Thuringian Philharmonic Orchestra.

Germán’s concert programmes combine classical opera, musicals and crossover repertoire, offering audiences an unforgettable musical experience of the highest artistic quality.
